Wanda Seamster...

Wanda Seamster's solo exhibition at the Alaska State Museum was a huge success in which the museum purchased 432 of her artist trading cards for its permanent collection. She has exhibited many times both with other artisans and solo at the Anchorage Museum of History and Art. She is represented in Alaska's four largest public art collections.

She is included in several publications, such as:

• Found and Assembled in Alaska
• Icebreakers: Alaska's Most Innovative Artists
• Painting Alaska
• Art for Alaskans (works from the Alaska Contemporary Art Bank)

She is one of the most prolific artists of The All Alaska Juried Exhibition Series. She takes part in many annual invitational and juried group exhibitions. Seamster has also juried and curated exhibitions in Alaska, and lectured and written about art issues since 1994.
