Wanda Seamster...

In 2006, Seamster had a solo exhibition at the Alaska State Museum, which purchased 432 of her artist trading cards for its permanent collection. She has a future solo exhibition in the Anchorage Museum, at the Rasmusson Center in 2008. She is represented in Alaska's four largest public art collections.

She is included in several publications, such as:

• Found and Assembled in Alaska
• Icebreakers: Alaska's Most Innovative Artists
• Painting Alaska
• Art for Alaskans (works from the Alaska Contemporary Art Bank)

She is one of the most prolific artists of The All Alaska Juried Exhibition Series. She takes part in many annual invitational and juried group exhibitions. Seamster has also juried and curated exhibitions in Alaska, and lectured and written about art issues since 1994.
